MEET OUR PASTOR
Pastor Kimmie Snowton was born and nurtured in a Christian home, under the strong influence of his godly, praying mother and father, who was the Pastor and Founder of Evangelist Temple Church. From a young age, Kimmie had an innate desire to serve God. He grew up in the Church and in a Godly environment.
God opened the doors for Pastor Snowton to pursue theological studies at Southern Bible Institute in Dallas, TX in 1997. He graduated Paris Junior College with an Associates Degree in 2000. In 2001, he was blessed to attend Texas A&M University - Commerce and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. Then in August 2010, he graduated from Texas Women's University with a Master's degree in Education Administration.
Pastor Snowton accepted his calling into the ministry in 1996. He preached his first sermon on August 23, 1998. As an ordained Minister, he served as Associate Pastor of Evangelist Temple Church until he was installed as Senior Pastor in February of 2011.
Pastor Snowton serves the Lord along with his family. He is married to Michelle and is blessed with three wonderful children, Ashley, Jasmine, and Isaiah. He is the proud grandfather of four grandchildren, MaKynzlee, Talan, Brody, and Emilyn.
